So Behind!

Okay, so basically, I finished the semester out on the 15th. Got home safely on the 16th and got to enjoy the first few days with the family. After that the week went fast, I was either working on something, shopping, out with friends, doing church things, it was quite crazy. It kind of calmed down today, I am loving being home with my family, but I am also really excited to start classes after the New Year. Thankfully, since I am not doing interterm, I have a friend who is an occupational therapist who is letting me observe her patients, which I need for my senior year![:
Last week my friends had a cookie exchange, which was super fun, so many varieties of Christmas cookies! Church was absolutely beautiful and amazing. We went to the Christmas Eve service, which we always do, and had a family over for dinner, and after they left we opened our presents! I could not ask for a better Christmas with my family. On Christmas, we went to our late and only service at church, which was also wonderfully done, and then we went up to Lake Arrowhead where my aunt and uncle had rented a cabin. That was fun and I got to see my cousins, two of whom live up in Northern California, a place where we don't travel very often (the last time I was there was when I was a sophomore). It was kind of crazy with how much energy they had and they were jumping/climbing/trampling/etc., you know the usually crazy things seven and eight year olds do when they're together and feed off each other. Thankfully, the little(est) one is only three and isn't quite to the point where she will jump all over you and attack! We enjoyed each others company, however, and I was able to have fun with them.
This past week I've been doing pt, which personally I think should be called "physical ouch!" It hurts so much! I've also found out that not ONLY do I have runner's knee, but also patellar tendonitis, which is always fun.

My friends and I have a tradition, we call it, "Beach in December." We go to the beach make hot dogs and s'mores, after we build our fire that we, of course, make ourselves. It's just us girls, and we go and have fun and get to chat about life. It's so wonderful and relaxing. It's also really nice as we only get to see each other a few times a year, now that we're all in college. The photos above were taken by my good friend, Natalie. She got a sweet new camera for Christmas!
The sky where I go to school, amazes me almost everyday. Look at this. I believe my friend, Sarah, who I've mentioned before, took these pictures as we were driving back on to campus after our Starbucks run.

My roommate, Brittani, and I had to rearrange our room for the umpteenth time, just in case we got another roommate. We don't know if we're getting one, yet, but we're sure glad all that rearranging is done.
Christmas with some of the cousins, I'm the one who has a little girl on her lap. The others are my sister, brother, and littlest cousin.

My grandma got a new doggie named, "Tommy," he's so cute and naughty! He'll literally jump on your lap and make himself comfortable.

I've realized how few pictures I've actually put up on my blog, which is funny, because I love taking them! So hopefully there will be more to come! Happy New Year's Eve!

<3,
Jenna
